Megan Fox Prepares for Career Comeback After Welcoming Baby

Megan Fox is ready to embrace a new chapter in her life following the birth of her baby with ex-partner Machine Gun Kelly (MGK).

The 38-year-old actress is focused on regaining her career momentum after the split. “She’s feeling a renewed sense of confidence since separating from MGK,” an insider shared. “The baby is the greatest gift to come from their relationship.”

Fox and MGK (real name Colson Baker) began dating in March 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. At the time, Fox was married to Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children: Noah, Bodhi, and Journey. After Green announced the end of their 10-year marriage in June 2020, Fox and MGK officially became a couple.

Their relationship reached a high point in January 2022 when they got engaged. Later, in November 2024, they announced Fox was pregnant with their first child together. MGK also has a daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with his ex, Emma Cannon. However, the couple quietly split the same month Fox revealed her pregnancy.

A Fresh Start

Despite the breakup, Fox sees her pregnancy as a meaningful part of her journey. “She believes that while they weren’t meant to be together, her baby was meant to be born,” the source revealed. “Her children are her greatest blessing and more important than any fleeting or tumultuous Hollywood romance.”

The actress is now looking forward to the future with optimism. “She’s excited to welcome her baby and focus on her career comeback,” the insider added.

While Fox and MGK remain in minimal contact as future co-parents, reconciliation isn’t on the table. “[She] doesn’t want to be in a relationship with him,” the source shared. “MGK wants to get back together, but Megan has told him she’s done for good.”

What Went Wrong

The relationship faced numerous ups and downs, including attempts to reconcile after the pregnancy announcement. However, their efforts often led back to heated arguments and unresolved issues. “They tried to make it work after the pregnancy, but their constant fighting made it impossible,” the insider explained.

Ultimately, their split wasn’t due to Fox’s pregnancy but deeper, long-standing relationship problems. Now, Fox is determined to move forward, prioritizing her children and career over past challenges.
