On Saturday, July 13, Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news. The High School Musical star posted a series of photos standing beside her husband, Cole Tucker. In the pictures, Hudgens wears a flowing white outfit, proudly displaying her growing baby bump. Two of the images show her pointing directly at her belly, confirming the pregnancy.
The caption? Simple and joyful: “Round two.”
A Love Story That Started During the Pandemic
Hudgens, 36, and Tucker, 29, met in 2020 during a Zoom meditation session hosted by Joe Jonas at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their connection quickly deepened, and by November that same year, the couple was seen holding hands in public. In 2021, they made their relationship Instagram official.
After three years of dating, the couple tied the knot in 2023. Less than a year later, they welcomed their first child in July 2024.
Vanessa Hudgens Opens Up About Motherhood
In past interviews, Vanessa Hudgens expressed her thoughts on family planning, saying:
“I always thought I would be married at 25 because that’s when my mom got married, and then when that didn’t happen, I was like: ‘Oh, okay, so we’re just going to shift everything back a bit.’ I always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don’t feel panicked about it.”
Now at 36, Hudgens appears to be right on track with the vision she once had for herself.

Before marrying Tucker, Hudgens was in a long-term relationship with actor Austin Butler. The two dated for nine years before splitting in January 2020. She was also romantically linked to High School Musical co-star Zac Efron from 2006 to 2010.
