Zoë Kravitz on Channing Tatum After Their Split: “I Care for Him Very Much”

Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum may have ended their engagement in October 2024, but their admiration and respect for each other remain unwavering. Despite going their separate ways, the former couple continues to speak highly of one another, with Kravitz recently reflecting on their time together and their creative collaboration.

A Journey of Love and Creativity

Kravitz, 36, and Tatum, 44, first sparked romance rumors in 2021 while working together on Blink Twice, Kravitz’s directorial debut. The psychological thriller, released in August 2024, features Tatum as the enigmatic tech mogul Slater King and was praised for its bold storytelling and unique perspective on power dynamics.

Though their relationship flourished during the filmmaking process, the demands of their careers and personal differences ultimately led to their breakup. A source close to the couple revealed that their different lifestyles played a significant role in their split. “Channing spends a lot of time in Los Angeles because of his daughter, Everly, while Zoë prefers living in New York City. They realized they were at different stages in life, but their split was amicable,” the insider told People.

Mutual Respect and Gratitude

Despite parting ways, Kravitz remains appreciative of their time together. In a recent interview with Elle, she expressed how meaningful their collaboration was, both professionally and personally.

“I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much,” she shared. “Even when you bring up how great his performance is, it warms my heart to hear that, and I’m so happy that all of it happened. I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”

Kravitz also acknowledged Tatum’s growth as an actor and his promising future in Hollywood. “He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place where he’s feeling really confident. People are seeing different sides of him, and he’s got a lot to offer. I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that,” she added.

Tatum, too, has spoken positively about their time together, previously describing their experience on Blink Twice as “like creating a marriage.” In an interview, he expressed how deeply connected they became through the project, saying, “To get to create something with someone that you love is probably one of the most gratifying things.”

Moving Forward, Separately

Following their breakup, both stars have been focusing on their respective careers and personal lives. Kravitz has been actively working on new projects while maintaining a low profile in the public eye. Meanwhile, Tatum has been linked to 25-year-old Australian model Inka Williams, with reports suggesting that the two have been spending time together in recent months. Kravitz, on the other hand, has been spotted on multiple occasions with actor Noah Centineo, sparking speculation about a possible romance.

Though they are moving forward separately, it’s clear that Kravitz and Tatum continue to support and respect each other. Their love story may have come to an end, but the impact they had on one another remains undeniable.
